Todd Monette, Motiva Enterprises Port Arthur Refinery General Manager, is a 20-year employee for Shell/Motiva.

Todd completed his undergraduate work at Mississippi State University in 1986, earning a BS in Chemical Engineering and his MBA at Rice University in 2003.

After numerous engineering assignments, Todd completed several management assignments in Operations, Maintenance, and Turnarounds at Shell's Deer Park, Texas, Refinery.  In 1999, Todd took on the responsibility of start-up manager for the second Maya expansion project at Deer Park, completing the project in 2001.  After this assignment, Todd was assigned to Shell/Motiva Headquarters in Houston, Texas, working with the site leadership teams driving the efforts on process safety and work process management.  Todd was assigned a refinery leadership role in late 2003, serving as Manager of Reliability/Maintenance at the Delaware City Refinery.  He took over as Production Manager at the Motiva Convent Refinery in 2004 where he stayed until his announcement for his current position at the Port Arthur Refinery as of July 1, 2006.

Todd and his wife Terri are the proud parents of three daughters ages 20, 14 and 8.
